Very, very long scarf!
This is the first project I did to get me back into knitting. I started it during a holiday while I was at university...so probably in about 2003. I left it at home, so mum would do bits and pieces as and when, and I'd pick it up when I came home. I think it took about 2 years to finish it. Basic k1, p1 rib, but it is at leats 14 foot long, and about 6" wide. I am 5 foot tall and can wrap it round my neck twice and both sides still touch the floor. I still wear it today.
Button Scarf
A simple ribbed scarf, about 2" wide and about 48" long, decorated with buttons. A great beginners project as the buttons don't take long to add on afterwards and make it a little bit different.
What's an FO?
An FO is a Finished Object and I wanted a place to track all of the objects that I finally get round to finishing. So this blog will not be a series of rambling (unlike http://minidesign.blogpsot.com) but will only be posted to once I finish something - be it something knitted, a cake, something crafted, maybe even a website. There will be a bit of backtracking first, but after that will keep it updated as often as I can!
